Make a Wish trip
One thing I haven't mentioned yet is how very reasonable the lines were for the rides. We learned later that one of the slowest times of the year is the weeks between Thanksgiving break and Christmas break. It was fantastic, we didn't have to wait in lines more than 15-20 minutes or so and many rides there was no wait at all. That is except for Saturday. It was crazy! I can't imagine what it's like in the summer, because even though it was December the lines were loooooong, like 60 - 90 minutes long even for rides like Peter Pan.
Every ride we went on we would assess - could Taleah go on this, would she have liked it? Every ride. She would have loved the jungle safari, I don't know if she would have liked the Pirates of the caribbean or not, she would have lovedthe tiki room, the Peter Pan ride. but the thing I know she would have just adored was the light parade. It was spectacular! She would have oohed and aahed over everything especially Cinderella and Snow White. It was wonderful, but it was another one of those moments where, when it was over, it seemed so wrong that she wasn't there. As we walked away, Natalie looked up at Megan and asked why she was crying. Megan explained that Taleah would have loved the parade and she was missing her, wishing she could be with us. Natalie immediately took a couple steps to catch up with me (I of course was crying too) took my hand and said "Momma?" and then started crying, big sobs. Ethan started crying and John just wrapped his arms around all of us as we cried in the middle of the street at Disney World.
